Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.

Workshops and courses present an opportunity to explore new concepts and further develop your practice. Each has a specific focus; allowing you to understand your practice better, both on and off the mat.

Workshops are offered in person, throughout the year as well on retreats. Online courses may be taken at any time from the comfort of your home.

All things handstands

A beginners workshop

All things handstands

Handstands have this intoxicating way of capturing our attention, keeping us utterly present. It is this that I love. They require discipline, focus and hard work.

During this workshop we shall start quite literally from the ground up, learning the principles of hand balancing, working towards that perfect straight line. Once your straight line is solid we can start to explore further, but for now, solid foundations, steady breath, a clear understanding of what needs to be happening and what you should be feeling comes first!

Who is this workshop aimed at?

No previous experience is required, just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn.

If your attempts to kick up have been futile, or you have caught the balance, but still look like a banana - this is the workshop for you.

Mysore Intensive

A week of focus & shifting patterns

MYSORE INTENSIVE

I regularly offer these Ashtanga Mysore intensive weeks. The week’s focus allows us to really delve a bit deeper, explore where you may be stuck in patterns and boldly step forward. I like to keep these groups small; 6 has always felt perfect as the smaller group size means that I can spend more time assisting you each individually.

Sleep Solutions

Sleep Solutions Online Course

Sleepless nights not only affect your energy levels, but also impact your mood, overall performance and eventually your quality of life. Most of us will experience some form sleeplessness at some stage, most likely the result of a stressful period. Insomnia however; which is defined as difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, may be caused by many factors such as medications, medical conditions, traumatic events etc.

My own challenge with sleep started as a young adult when my then undiagnosed thyroid condition was severely affecting my sleep. It was only after my son was born that I was diagnosed but by then my pattern of sleepless nights was well and truly established.

I established a regular sleep routine with warm baths, lavender oils and chamomile tea, and whilst this was useful it wasn’t enough to reprogramme my nervous system. Neither were yoga postures alone. I needed a package of tools to start my rewiring which included yoga postures, but also pranayama and meditation. The right tools at the right time.

It is these tools that I have packaged into this course for you in an easy 3 step process. The course includes several techniques so you can simply choose the ones that feel most intuitive to you in each of the 3 steps.

I have been teaching these techniques in person over the years, but as more and more people were falling asleep on my shala floor, I thought it’s about time I made it into an online course. This means you can access the content from your own home and most importantly, repeat!
